Cyril is a first-generation American who was born in Flushing, NY and raised in Hamden, CT. He received his BS in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University and his MBA from Harvard Business School. Cyril’s work experience includes financial, operational, and management roles in commercial and investment banking, restructuring, performance improvement, and small businesses. He is also a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Cyril has considered the DC Metro area his hometown for more than a decade. While professional and academic opportunities took him away temporarily, he has returned to make it his permanent home. This area has provided Cyril with countless memories and he hopes to build upon these as a local business owner and operator.
His desire to pursue this path is inspired by his family’s extensive history in small business and their dedication to the local community. His maternal grandfather, paternal grandfather, and father started and managed successful small businesses in the manufacturing, food, and printing industries in Kerala, India. Cyril’s mother was a social worker for 30+ years, serving the communities of Central Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York City. Given this upbringing, Cyril is intrinsically motivated to become an entrepreneur.
